Manuel Gomez Rodriguez

Position: PhD Student  Unit: Schölkopf

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University and MPI for Intelligent Systems. I study optimization problems that arise in diffusion processes in the context of information, social and epidemiological networks. In particular, I have focused on: network inference from diffusion traces and spread (influence) maximization.

I have developed several network inference algorithms: NetInf, MultiTree, NetRate and InfoPath, and one spread maximization algorithm: InfluMax.
